Division of The Institution of Surveyors, Australia

The Institution of Surveyors Victoria acts as a division of The Institution of Surveyors, Australia, for the area comprising the State of Victoria. ISA is a national body that was established in 1952 when surveyors in a number of State associations decided to align their associations with the common objective of promoting the science and practice of surveying for the benefit of society.

Regional Groups

The Institution of Surveyors Victoria has members who live and practice in all areas across the State. To facilitate regional involvement of all its members, ISV has four regional groups – the Gippsland Group, the Glenelg Grampians Group, the Murray Group and the North Central Group. Also, to encourage participation of younger members who are new to the profession, ISV has a Young Surveyors Group which organises events and presents the views of the emerging surveying professionals.
